Andrew and Isabella won the popularity sweepstakes last year for new parents in Orange County. Those names were bestowed most often upon newborn boys and girls in 2009, according to Orange County Clerk-Recorder Tom Daly.

Couples planning Valentine's Day vows won't have to trek to Las Vegas this year to tie the knot.
To accommodate couples, Orange County Clerk-Recorder Tom Daly will open his Fullerton office for wedding ceremonies on Valentine’s Day even though it falls on a Sunday when the office normally is closed.

A special traveling exhibit from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Illinois is featured at the Old County Courthouse, 211 W. Santa Ana Blvd. in Santa Ana, through Feb. 26, 2010. This exhibit, created to commemorate the Lincoln Bicentennial celebration, is free to the public. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays except holidays.
