Welcome to the Clerk-Recorder Department. We encourage you to browse our website and learn more about the services our department provides. Our office handles property records, marriage licenses and ceremonies, birth and death certificates, and many other services. We also oversee the Orange County Archives, where materials detailing the history of Orange County can be found.

Lincoln exhibit coming to Orange County in February 2010 

A special traveling exhibit from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Illinois is coming to the Old County Courthouse, 211 W. Santa Ana Blvd. in Santa Ana, from Feb. 1, 2010, to Feb. 26, 2010. This exhibit, created to commemorate the Lincoln Bicentennial celebration, will be free to the public.

A second bill championed by Orange County Clerk-Recorder Tom Daly to provide critical privacy protection for property owners has been signed into law by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
