Green Jobs Corps Participant Application

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Be between the ages of 16 and 24 at the time you apply.  A picture ID is required (Driver’s License, State ID, US Passport, school ID, or other form of ID).
  2. Have the legal right to work in the United States.  To prove you have legal right to work in the US you must answer yes to at least one of the following:
    • Do you have a Birth Certificate?
    • Do you have Resident Alien Card?
    • Do you have a Passport?
    • Do you have a Social Security Card?
        
  3. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must meet family income eligibility.  To verify family income, please provide a copy of one of the documents that applies to you:
    • Amount of income your family has earned over the past 6 months
    • Proof that you are a foster child, or
    • Notice of Action from the Department of Social Services verifying your family is on public assistance, or
    • Proof your family is receiving food stamps, or
    • Disability payments, or
    • Unemployment insurance payments, or
    • Social Security payments,
        
  4. Selective Service Registration (if you are a male 18 years of age or older)

If you don’t have any of this information, but think you qualify to get a Green Jobs Corps, call 714-567-7528 or TDD 711 to get additional information.
