Foothill South Oso to Ortega Segment Update
I participated in a briefing of representatives from the LA/OC Building and Construction Trades Council and Affiliated Craft Unions to update them on the initial segment of the Foothill South Extension to the SR-241 toll road. The initial segment, as proposed, would extend the SR-241 toll road from its southerly terminus at Oso Parkway to the vicinity of Ortega Highway. It is estimated that construction of this 4.2 mile segment would create more than 2,000 jobs in Orange County and generate an additional 407 jobs statewide.
