Shelter Dog Training Program
The shelter dog training program is a cooperative partnership between OC Animal Care, youth correctional facilities, and the Another Chance for Love staff. The partnership is collectively working toward improving the lives of individuals and dogs in their communities. The dogs selected for the program are fully obedience trained, crate trained, and housebroken by a select group of inmates at a correctional facility. In return, the dogs teach the inmates unconditional love, responsibility, and respect. All of the dogs are vacinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. If you would like to apply to adopt one of the dogs from Another Chance for Love, send an e-mail to ACFL09@yahoo.com. | | | "Thumper" Age: 9 months Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Daschund Mix | "Tiger" Age: 2 years Sex: Neutered Male Breed:Papillon | "Frosty" Age: 5 years Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Labrador Retriever | | | | "Shaggy" Age: 3 years Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Terrier | "Taylor" Age: 5 years Sex: Neutered Male Breed:Retriever Mix | "Nemo" Age: 1year Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Labradoodle |
