OCCS  Housing & Community Development offers affordable housing opportunities for renters and homeowners; community revitalization for homeowners and unincorporated communities.

(Santa Ana-CA)  The County of Orange, OC Community Services is amending the Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Annual Action Plan to add $3,285,926 in emergency Community Development Block Grant funds that have been allocated to Orange County for use in the Neighborhood Stabilization Program.

The deadline for the superNOFA has been extended to August 30, 2008

Notice of Funding Availability

The 2008-B NOFA is closed.  OC Community Services is only accepting applications for projects requesting Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) funds.  Please contact Kevin Fincher at 714-480-2994 if you are interested in applying for MHSA funds.

Programs for Homeowners consists of Mobile Home Exterior Grant, Roof Replacement Program, Single Family Residence Loans, Low interest Loans for Home Rehabilitation, and Rehabilitation Guidelines.

Homeless Prevention conists of Services, Shelters, and Rental Assistance.

Rental Assistance (OCHA)

Rental Assistance consists of programs for Renters, Landlords, and Affordable Housing.
