Homeless Prevention and Related Programs
Homeless Prevention centrally coordinates the preservation and expansion of the County's Continuum of Care System/Super NOFA for the homeless which focuses on homeless prevention, outreach and assessment, emergency shelter, transitional housing, supportive services, and permanent supportive housing.
Homeless Prevention Programs and Initiatives
In addition to the Continuum of Care, Homeless Prevention's other programs include the Armory Emergency Shelter and the Point in Time Count. Homeless Prevention has drafted a 10-year plan to incorporate HUD's vision of ending chronic homelessness which is overseen by the Commission to End Homelessness.
