County of Orange awarded SuperNoFA grant

(Santa Ana, CA) – The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded the County of Orange $9,729,254 in a homeless assistance grant competition under the Continuum of Care Super Notice of Funding Availability(SuperNOFA). The SuperNOFA is an annual process and the grant award to the County of Orange, as the lead agency, is a direct result of the County's partnership with cities and hundreds of non-profit organizations to address the issue of homelessness in Orange County.

(Santa Ana, CA) – The County of Orange’s commitment to the development of more affordable housing opportunities for residents of Orange County continues with the groundbreaking ceremony for 53 affordable senior rental units at Heritage Place in Tustin. The groundbreaking will be at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 17, 2002. The 53 affordable units were made possible in part by a Board of Supervisor approved Housing Authority Operating Reserve Fund loan of $541,903 from the Housing and Community Development Department (H&CD).
