Hours of Operation

• Monday through Saturday
• 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Closed Sundays and the following holidays: Memorial, Independence, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Days.
• Landfills do not close due to rain.

Costs

• Automobile (any passenger car): $5.00 *
• Trucks with less than 880 pounds: $20.00 (minimum amount for trucks)
• Hard to handle fee: $25.00

(For items longer than 6 feet)  Examples: pieces of wood, mattresses, furniture, etc.

• Per ton fee: $46.00
• (more than 880 pounds)
• Hard to handle fee: $51.00

Anything between the minimum and tonnage rate is prorated based on weight at the scale.

Acceptable Forms of Payment

• Cash or Check only. No credit cards.
• Make checks payable to County of Orange
• Check must have physical address imprinted. P.O. Box numbers are not allowed.
