The Tax Collector's Office

IMPORTANT MESSAGE

Dear Friend:

Taxpayers residing in zip codes 92603-92679 may have recently received an incomplete 2009/10 property tax
bill.

Due to a computer programming error, some taxpayers that maintain an impound account with their mortgage lender were mistakenly sent a tax bill that did not contain information regarding their impound account.

The programming error has been identified and the problem has been fixed.

If you now currently have an impound account, your lender will continue to pay the taxes on your behalf.  Please retain the tax bill you received for information purposes.

PLEASE NOTE:

• If your impound account has been closed, you will remain responsible for paying the property taxes due.

• If your loan has been sold or re-financed, please contact the new lender to verify payment of your property taxes will be made through the previously established impound account.

We apologize for any inconvenience this error may have caused. If you have additional questions please contact our Tax Information Hot Line at (714) 834-3411 or email us at ttcinfo@ttc.ocgov.com.

Sincerely,
Chriss W. Street
