Chinese Delegation to Visit County of Orange
(Santa Ana, CA) -Chinese government officials will visit the County of Orange April 1 to meet with County staff from finance and audit departments.
The County’s Chief Financial Officer Gary Burton and David Sundstrom, director of internal audit, will present delegates with the audit-control business plan. "We will discuss the ways in which we determine how and what we audit in the County," said Sundstrom. An overall view of the County’s financial system will also be presented by Charles Hulse, chief deputy auditor-controller.
All 14 delegates head departments in the Chinese government including the general auditing office, the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Civil Administration.
Next week’s visit marks the second in the last six months by Chinese government representatives. In December 1996, 19 officials came to the County to discuss environmental issues. |
