Application Period Closes For Prop 10 Commission
The application period for membership on the Children and Families First Commission has now closed. This commission is being established by the Board of Supervisors to receive and distribute revenue from Proposition 10, the voter-approved Tobacco Tax Initiative. More than 60 applications were received.
Board Chairman Charles V. Smith has called for a study session by the full Board at 1:30 p.m., May 4 in the Board Hearing Room of the County’s Hall of Administration located at Santa Ana Blvd. and Broadway in Santa Ana. Public comment is welcome.
