Back Bay High School Neighborhood to Consider Costa Mesa Annexation
(Santa Ana) – The County of Orange will host an open house from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., September 28 to discuss the potential annexation of the Back Bay High School neighborhood.
The city of Costa Mesa, the County and the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO - the agency responsible for approving annexations) will have representatives present. They will provide information about the County’s annexation policy as well as the process and procedures for annexation.
Currently, the Back Bay High School neighborhood is part of unincorporated Orange County located within Costa Mesa’s sphere of influence.
The location for the event is the multi-purpose room of the Alternative Education Center (formerly, Back Bay High School) at 390 Monte Vista Avenue, Costa Mesa.
