County of Orange Presents Budget Workshop for the Public
SANTA ANA - The County of Orange invites the public to attend a budget workshop from 3 to 5 p.m., May 26 in the multipurpose room of the County Library Administration Building, 1501 East St. Andrew Place in Santa Ana.
The free workshop will introduce the public to County’s 2000-01 budget by addressing some of the County’s major issues and their budgetary impact. Some of the topics will include Proposition 10/Orange County Children & Families Commission, CalWorks, foster care, community revitalization, urban runoff, and the Sheriff-Marshal merger. Speakers will include County Executive Officer Jan Mittermeier; Sheriff Michael Carona; Dr. Esmael Adibi, director of the A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research at Chapman University; and budget staff.
