After School Club and Reading to Rover
Crafts, stories, and games for children in 1st through 6th grade, Wednesdays, 3 p.m.
September 16--December 16 (No program on Nov.25)
The third Wednesday of each month is READING TO ROVER in place of After School Club. Children improve their skill by reading to certified READ dogs. (Children younger than first grade are allowed for Reading to Rover.)

Korean Storytimes and Crafts:

Other Storytimes
The fall storytimes have finished. The winter storytimes will begin on January 11th.
Teen Anime Club
Saturday, December 19th at 2:00 p.m. is the monthly meeting of the Teen Anime Club. The club is for teens age 14 and older who have a signed permission slip.
All programs are generously supported by the Friends of the Heritage Park Library.
Fun Fact
A three-part sculpture, designed by artist Mark Lere, graces the library entry courtyard. Irvine's first permanent piece of public art includes a slate and marble thronelike chair, a 12-foot headless figure constructed of 200 stacked pieces of anodized aluminum, and a spiraling slate and marble timeline, includes 44 "significant" dates in Irvine history.
Library Features
Heritage Park Regional Library serves as one of the three regional libraries for the Orange County Public Library System. The Library offers a variety of resources and services with particular strengths in business, visual arts, and biographies. The Library has extensive electronic resources, Internet access, and a large collection of periodicals in print or microform.
The Children's Department offers a wide range of books, materials, and programs for children of all ages.
The Friends of the Heritage Park Library operates a small bookstore that supports the Library.

Friends of the Heritage Park Library
The Friends of the Heritage Park Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the library through volunteer labor and the operation of a bookstore. New members are always welcome to the Friends of the Library (FOL).
The Heritage Park Library Bookstore is open 7 days a week.
