VESSEL LAUNCHING

Trailered vessels may be launched at the Newport Dunes Aquatic Park located at 1131 Back Bay Dr. in Newport Beach. For additional information please call (949)729-3863.

Cost:

October - April:

• Monday - Thursday: $8
• Friday - Sunday: $10

May - September:

• Monday - Thursday: $10
• Friday - Sunday: $15

Vessels are launched in the Upper Newport Bay. Travel time to the breakwater: approximately 40 minutes. Please observe the 5mph/"no wake" speed limit throughout the harbor to the breakwater.

GUEST SLIP/MOORING RENTALS

Guest Slips:

• Five slips are available for rent on a first come, first served basis.
• Slips and moorings must be rented in person and the vessel to be docked/moored must be brought to the Harbor Patrol guest dock at the time of rental.
• Bring to the office current registration/documentation and a picture I.D.
• Guest slips will accommodate vessels up to 40' overall length.
• Rates are $40.00 nightly fee.
• November-April:
  During these months guest slip renters are required to sleep on board their vessels due to possible adverse weather conditions.

Guest Moorings:

• Various sizes throughout the harbor
• Rates are $15.00 nightly fee from November through April, $25.00 from May through October
• Slips and moorings must be rented in person and vessel to be docked/moored must be brought to the Harbor Patrol guest dock at the time of rental.
• Bring to the office current registration/documentation and a picture I.D.
• November-April:
  During these months renters of the moorings in Carnation Cove are required to sleep on board their vessels due to possible adverse weather conditions.
