Limestone and Whiting Ranch Parks

Limestone Canyon and Whiting Ranch Wilderness Parks will remain closed until further notice due to significant damage from the Santiago Fire, which started Oct. 21, 2007.  Please respect the wilderness and stay out of burned areas and off closed trails.  Firefighters, park rangers and other resource agencies need the public to comply with the park and trail closures until it is safe for the public and not harmful to the environment.  Please note, however, that the Santiago Equestrian Center inside Limestone Canyon and Whiting Ranch Wilderness Parks has reopened despite the rest of the parks' continued closure.  Click here for more information.
