Mandatory Evacuations In Effect In Yorba Linda 

A mandatory evacuation order is now in effect due to the heavy rainfall which may lead to mud and debris flows in and below burn areas.

This evacuation order covers the Box Canyon, Brush Canyon, North Fairmont/San Antonio areas, as well as the commercial structures west of Via del Rio and north of La Palma.

A shelter for displaced residents is available at the Thomas Lasorda Field House at 4701 Casa Loma Avenue.

Animals may be sheltered at Orange County Animal Care Services by calling (714) 935-6848.

Local officials will be monitoring the surrounding terrain, watershed from the Chino Hills State Park, and current soil conditions.
