Soil Disposal Procedures
New Soil Disposal Procedures--April 2009
Effective immediately, there are new procedures for accepting soils for disposal at the Orange County landfills. Please note that the new procedures require the property owner/representative to collect the soil sample and secure the lab analysis prior to disposal, in addition to other new steps. For your convenience, these new procedures are summarized in the revised Soil Acceptance Fact Sheet (April 2009).
OC Waste & Recycling's criteria for the acceptance of soil are required in order to protect the environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
Prior to disposal at an Orange County landfill, the property owner/representative must complete the following two forms: Soil Information Form Soil Self-Certification Form
