Vendor Registration

To register as a new vendor with the County of Orange, please complete the following steps:

  1. Click here to begin.  
  2. Click on the Vendor Registration link under CEO Purchasing navigation.  You should be on the Vendor Name Search page.
  3. Enter either a full or partial name of your company and click the Search button.  You should be on the Vendor Name Search Results page.
  • Scenario 1 - You do not see your company name displayed in the search results:

-Click on the New Vendor Registration button.  You should be on the Tax ID Search page.  Enter the Tax ID for your company - be sure to use the correct Tax ID - and do not enter dashes, spaces, or alphabetic characters, then click the Submit button.  

-If you receive Error Code = EXST001 or Error Code = DUP001, then your company is already recorded in our vendor database.  Please follow the steps below for "What if I have a problem".

  • Scenario 2 - You do see your company name displayed in the search results:

-Click on the Add New Location link under the name.  You should be on the On-Line Bidding EIN/SSN Validation page. 

-Enter the Tax ID for your company - be sure to use the correct Tax ID - and do not enter dashes, spaces, or alphabetic characters, then click the Submit button.  If you receive Error Code = MTCH001, then the Tax ID did not match, click the OK button.  Verify the Tax ID.

-If you entered the correct Tax ID, then it does not match the Tax ID of the existing entry. Please follow the steps below for "What if I have a problem".  If you did not receive an error in one of the above scenarios, then you should be on the Vendor Registration page. 

-Enter a user ID - It can be up to 11 characters, upper or lower case, alpha or numeric.  Enter a password - It can be up to 8 characters, upper or lower case, alpha or numeric.  Verify password - re-enter the same password as above.  Fill in the rest of the fields marked with a red asterisk – they are required fields.  You can click on the question button for information on a specific input field.  When you have entered all required fields, click the Submit button.

  1. You should be on the Vendor Update Confirmation page and see this message: Thank you, Vendor Name.  Your registration has been accepted.
  2. You are now registered as a vendor with the County of Orange.  The email address you entered on the vendor registration page will receive a Registration Confirmation email which will contain your user ID and password.  Please file it in a safe place.

If you have a problem:

1. Send an email to VendorRegistration@OCGov.com

2. In the email please include all of the following information:

-Your Name

-Your Telephone Number

-Company Name

-Company Tax ID

-Describe the problem and include any error codes you may have received
