OC Community Services offers affordable housing opportunities for renters and homeowners; community revitalization for homeowners and unincorporated communities; and community services for special needs populations such as older adults, veterans, victims of domestic violence or hate crimes, the unemployed, and the homeless.

Community Development

Programs for Homeowners consists of Mobile Home Exterior Grant, Roof Replacement Program, Single Family Residence Loans, Low interest Loans for Home Rehabilitation, and Rehabilitation Guidelines.

OC Human Relations

OC Human Relations Commission strives to build mutual understanding, facilitate the peaceful resolution of disputes, and eliminate prejudice, intolerance, and discrimination for all Orange County residents.

Housing Development

Housing Development consists of programs for Homebuyers, Developers, Renters, City/Non-profits, and Current Projects.

Homeless Prevention

Homeless Prevention centrally coordinates the preservatina and expansion of the County's Continuum of Care system for the homeless which focuses on homeless prevention, outreach and assessment, emergency shelter, transitional housing, supportive services, and permanent supportive housing.

Community Investment

Community Investment Division matches Orange County workforce skills and abilities with employer needs through the Orange County Workforce Investment Board and the One-Stop Center system.

Office on Aging

Office on Aging ensures that older adults in Orange County experience a high quality of life by offering information, assistance, transportation, and healthcare.

Orange County Housing Authority - Rental Assistance  

Orange County Housing Authority (OCHA) administers federally funded programs to provide monthly rental assistance to qualified tenants in privately owned rental housing. The largest such program is referred to as the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Participants who receive a Housing Voucher can use this rental assistance in a variety of rental dwellings and locations with almost any property owner who is willing to participate in the program.

Veterans Service Office

Veterans Service Office assists veterans, their survivors and dependants to receive federal and state benefits to which they are entitled and promotes understanding of the importance of our OC veterans.
